Gap
Israel is ranked 64th (out of 153 countries)
In the 2020 Global Gender Gap Index (GPI).
Currently in Israel, women represent only 18%
City Council members, only 5.4% (14) out
of 257 Mayors and only 23% of the Knesset
Members (MKs). Although the rate of the
women working as civil servants is 65%, only
19% are in executive positions, and 0% are in
senior management positions in governmental
companies.
