Why UIG does what it does and the purpose(s) fulfilled by

      WHY


      A huge swath of Americans, needs for financial advice are  focused on issues like credit card debt, building an
      emergency fund, or just getting their head around their budget for the first time.


      What about people with no assets at all, or even a negative net worth? Those with credit  card debt, no emergency
      savings fund, and no idea of how much money  is coming in, going out, or where it’s going… but they want help. How
      can financial advisors help them? In reality, that person is not a good fit  for a financial advisor, at least given how
      most operate today. Instead, that person needs a financial coach.


      Purpose



      Personal financial coaching is one of the more effective approaches for influencing behavioral change and
      promoting positive financial outcomes, especially for those with low to moderate incomes.
