Protection
Basic protection for those who are beginning the energetic journey, is important, because until you can master
your own energy you are a magnet for all kinds of energy including that of the negative persuasion. So we begin
with prayer. Praying and asking your God, angels, guides, ancestors and whatever other beings you may work
with is one of the best kinds of protection.
Creating the bubble of light:
Envision in your mind’s eye, a bubble of light the size of a balloon emanating from your heart area and see this
bubble of light growing until you are floating inside of it. Once you are there, line this bubble of light with gold
light, then outside of this, see a two way tinting with mirrors facing outward, you can still see thru it from your
side. Then you can add, lead, crystal, or whatever material feels right. Put this shield around you most
especially when you have to deal with the public in any capacity.
Objects of protection
Traditionally in most of man’s history, there have been items, trinkets which have been believed to bring luck,
love and prosperity in addition to protection. These items would come in the forms of body parts, juju bags,
crystals, talisman’s and charmed items, feathers, candles and dreamcatchers also are popular items used for the
purposes of protection. Holy people have medicine bags, a combination of sacred items gathered in their life’s
journey. Some display them in the form of Alters. Others have lucky socks, shirts and other clothing items.
Really I believe, it’s what you believe, that works.
However, to give credit to those who have used some of these methods and swear they are tried and true, we
will give you some thoughts on how to begin the process.
Some of the items you will need are as follows:
1. Sea Salt- Himalayan and Hawaiian are very good for this purpose.
2. Rosemary- A live plant- Placed at the entrance and exit of one’s home detours the negative energy from
entering.
3. A broom- In days of old, women used the brooms to sweep away the negative spirits and illness in a
home, this practice is still used today in some paths.
4. Small mirrored tiles- Four per window or mirror in the house with the mirror part facing outward, spirits
who attempt to enter through this way will get caught in the mirror or be reflected back.
5. Water- water is another wonderful all around thing which for protection, it can be blessed and turned to
holy water making the sign of the cross 12 times across the container or spray bottle and it’s considered
blessed, if you wish to be very sure, add sea salt and baking soda and Epsom salt and leave in the sun for
24 hours and it will be charged and blessed.
6. Crystals- obsidian (including apache tear) , cats eyes, hematite are all great negative energy absorbers,
clear, or white crystals and amethysts are also great go to’s for protection around the house.
7. Triune Ray- Take four fairly large quartz crystals, and place at four corners of the property lines and
envision pyramids up to the sky and under the ground coming in energetic lines from the crystals.
8. Witches Jars & Talismans & Candles- There are some older remedies such as taking sharpened objects
and placing them in a jar with some of your urine and burying it in the east door of your property line
which some say works well. Creating a protective juju bag or personal talisman with your crystals and
feathers can do as well. Putting intention to colored candles also work.
9. Sweet grass, incense, sage sticks- sweet grass burned or hung on a fireplace mantle or wall or doorway
will welcome in the good spirits. Frankincense, Myrrh, Copal, Bay Leaf, Lavender, white or desert sage,
all clear bacteria and negative energies from the house, never use your own breath, feathers or your
hands.
