Meadow Acres Storm Station AE2S continues to provide SCADA integration and controls on all new City Water Department

Integration
MicroClor Hypochlorite The City of Burnsville transitioned from a deteriorating chlorine gas feed system to a hypochlorite
2014 Generation and Feed System generation/feed system. AE2S teamed with MicroClor to create a custom SCADA controls package
SCADA Integration allowing for ease of operator use and troubleshooting.
AE2S teamed with the City’s IT Department to design and implement a SCADA-integrated
state-of-the-art access control and security monitoring system. The access control terminals at
WTP/Remote Site Access the WTP, wells, and other associated sites have been integrated with the local programmable
2015 Control and Intrusion SCADA logic controllers to achieve intrusion alarming and monitoring via the City of Burnsville’s SCADA
Integration
system. SCADA intrusion alarming includes disable/enable functionality and remote notification,
as well as on site security cameras.
Project consisted of the review of as-built drawings and documentation of past
Heather Hills Water Storage renovations and recent recommendations by other consultants, a thorough inspection
2015 Tank - Inspection and of the tank, and a report that summarized the current condition of the tank and
Preliminary Investigation recommended rehabilitation. AE2S teamed with KLM for the inspection and structural
review portions of this project.
Water Distribution Model Project consisted of a hydraulic model update, Unidirectional Flushing program – pilot
2015 Update & Unidirectional area, water distribution system field testing, hydraulic model EPS calibration, and
Flushing Program pressure and fire flow analysis.
Pressure Management (PRV) The project consisted of a pressure zone analysis using the water distribution model

Study and a PRV vault condition assessment and improvement plan.
Nicollet Reservoir Project consisted of design and request for quotes and construction phase services
2015 High Service Pump 4 for the rehabilitation of the high service pump, including process piping painting and

Skyline PRV Relocation and The Skyline PRV is being relocated as part of a Dakota County road rehabilitation project. AE2S is

Controls Improvements working directly with the City as the project engineer and controls integrator.
The City of Burnsville is constructing a new storm station in the Crystal Lake area to assist with
water drainage. AE2S is designing and implementing the electrical installation and controls for
Crystal Beach Storm Station this project. This storm station will consist of a main influent wetwell and infiltration basin
2016 Electrical Design, Installation, wetwell, with level instrumentation in each. The pump controls will be based upon a comparison
and SCADA Integration of the levels of both wetwells to achieve proper storm water drainage. The Crystal Beach Storm
Station is currently in preconstruction phase, and we are confident it will be another example of
AE2S excellence upon its completion in early 2017.
