Yarra Valley 4x4 Club - Monthly Awards….
These proud achievement awards are given monthly to any club member(s) that
demonstrate suitable memorable and witnessed attributes whilst on a club trip.
Turkey Award ( ‘nuff said )
This award is to keep as a momento, be careful, they can attract others !
For the month of February 2019 the YV 4x4 Turkey was awarded to:

ABar Award
For any member that goes above and beyond meritorious duties.
It resides in the members care for the month duration.
For the month of February 2019, the YV 4x4 A Bar was awarded to:
Matt for getting out of bed at 3am to check on the
bush fire situation on his sat-phone.
There were numerous bushfires burning in Snowy River NP area of
Eastern Victoria and the smoke was causing concern for many on the
trip. (The next day the Trip Leader sensibly moved the camp to the
neighbouring Alpine NP way from the danger area.)

satellite phone communications.
