We are investigating changing and updating the way we present trips, news and information
about the club. Using social media and electronic publication methods.

Currently we have a Facebook page available to the public, with strictly controlled news and
images. We also have a private Facebook page which is available by invitation only. Both of
these pages are maintained by Lauren ( Loz ) Dawson. If you would like more details or access
to the private members page, see Dodgy or Loz.

As a committee, we are discussing the upgrading of the monthly newsletter to incorporate
more trip reports and images, making them more current in publication terms. This will be done
by electronic publication only. Along with the electronic method of publication, we may produce
an annual hardcopy book of the years trips in photos with minimal text involved.

The electronic publication method would save the club in excess of $2,000 per year, hence the
discussion. However it is up to you, the members to decide. We will appraise you of further
details as they come to hand but would welcome your discussion and input.
