The Reuth Rehabilitation Hospital was established in 1961 in the
Yad Eliyahu neighborhood in Tel Aviv, by Reuth, one of Israel’s oldest and largest
nonprofit organizations. Originally holding 25 beds, the hospital grew constantly
in response to a growing demand for its crucial services.
The Spirit of Reuth (“Friendship”), which characterizes the hospital,
is also evident in the impressive activity of hundreds of volunteers,
who take part in the ongoing work, contribute their time and personal abilities,
form warm relations with the patients, and enrich the patients’ social and emotional worlds.
Our Volunteers include dozens of young people from around the world, who have chosen
us as the preferred place for giving to the community, and later become our faithful
ambassadors in their native lands. Some return to volunteer at our hospital every year.
THE FRIENDS OF REUTH REHABILITATION HOSPITAL
Our indefatigable Friends work constantly to promote the Hospital and raise funds
for its continued growth and development. Donations are tax deductible to the full extent
of the law in Israel and through our overseas Friends organizations.
