                                                                                                           “paradise” and very close to “paradox”), is an acronym for the
                                                                                                           four levels of Torah interpretation (peshat, remez, derash, sod),
                                                                                                           as you explain in the introduction to the book. The gematria of
                                                                                                           Pardes, 344, equals four times eighty-six, meaning that the average
                                                                                                           value of  the four  letters (representing the four  levels of  Torah
                                                                                                           interpretation) equals eighty-six, the  value of HaShem’s  Name
                                                                                                           Elokim, the Name that appears in the first account of Creation in
