equivalent to these three sins combined. For this reason alone,
man is obliged to guard himself very much from succumbing to
this evil character trait. Man should think that all of the “bad” and
sufferings that he endured throughout his entire life came only as םִיַמָשׁ דוֹבְּכ
a result of the consequences of his sins. However, the brunt of
his sin will not be forgiven and its corresponding punishment
awaits him in the Coming Future. 'א קרֶֶּפ

[ 17 ] The Aggadatah of Chazal contain the following statement
               (Devarim Rabbah 6): In the future, HaKadosh Baruch Hu will ."דֹאְמ ץֵפָח ויָתוְֹצִמְּב 'ה תֶא ארֵָי שׁיִא ירְֵשַׁא"
sever the tongues of those who routinely speak Lashon Hara, as
               David HaMelech writes in Tehilim (12:4) “Hashem will cut off all ויִּפ רֵמוֹשַּׁה רַכְשׂ לדֶֹגְּב םיִגיִלְפַּמַה םירִָמֲאַמ םירְִשֶׂע
of those with smooth talking lips, tongues that speak boastfully.”
The meaning of this pasuk is that their power of speech will be .

chapter, in English translation entitled Mazal Elul: Up until this point
                  we have elaborated on the enormity of the sin of intimate relations that ב
are forbidden by the Torah. Now, within this framework, I will discuss
several of these laws from the writings of our Authorities, matters in which
                  many people mistakenly stumble into committing sin.
                  who are ignorant of the law believe that the closer (i.e., the more familiar) ."וֹתֹא ןוּכִלְשׁ ַּת בֶל ֶּכַל וּלֵכאֹת אלֹ הָפרְֵט הדֶָשּׂ ַּב רָשָׂבוּ"
a person is, the more permissible it is, G-d forbid, to hug her or to kiss
                  her, as though she were one’s own wife. It is a great mitzvah to publicize ,הָּירִ ְּב ל ָּכ רַכְשׂ ַח ֵּפקְַמ אוּה ךְוּר ָּב שׁוֹד ּקַָה ןיֵאֶשׁ ,ךָדְ ֶּמַלְל
that fact that contrary to this mistaken thought, the closer a person is, the
                  imperative of the mitzvah is to stay more distant from that person.
who is intimate with his mother or daughter-in-law is executed by stoning

man must be very careful of these relationships, and all the more so if he
                  has a lust for a woman. .'וּכְו וֹרָכְשׂ ַח ֵּפקְַמ אוּה ךְוּר ָּב שׁוֹד ּקַָה ןיֵאֶשׁ ,ן ֵּכֶשׁ ל ָּכ אלֹ

                 2.   a father’s wife (even after the father has died);
                 3. the wife of a paternal brother; טֵל ָּמִהְל םֶכְנוֹצרְ םִא :אוּה ךְוּר ָּב שׁוֹד ּקַָה רַמָא :)'ב ןָמיִס ערָֹצְמ(
