5th hypothesis uncertainty felt by employees before the change which can be made in their working environment is influenced by gender, age and level of study.
6th hypothesis The satisfaction of employees is affected by the size of the enterprise in which they are employed.
Methodology: To carry out the survey it was used a questionnaire administered by a population that has 1500 employees in the Olympic 200 employees of all ages with different levels of education in all parts of the business in both categories of permanent and seasonal workers. The questionnaire is divided into 5 sections, a) job satisfaction, b) performance measurement / evaluation staff, c) job insecurity, d) work environment, e) personal data. The survey was conducted in the period from November 2010 to January 2011 and the statistical analysis and processing was carried out in the collected questionnaires, was conducted using the statistical program SPSS 17.0 Findings: It seems that men are less satisfied with their jobs than women and that job satisfaction is influenced badly when they match the skills a worker has with work to do. Most employees believe that when the working environment is pleasant, the yield is higher and that changes in the working environment is essential. Most of the workers surveyed, work in the private sector and state that the economic crisis has negatively affected the company where they work and that there were layoffs by reducing staff. The assurance given, which work offers to the worker, was found that is very important so as the staff feel complacent about and that is why public employees are more satisfied with their jobs than private employees.
Conclusions: The workers say that staff performance is greatly influenced by changes in the workplace. Most employees believe that when the working environment is pleasant, the yield is higher and that changes are necessary, although they feel a very large percentage of uncertainty in front of the change which may lead to job loss. A big gap was observed among workers in the private and public sector, with public officials much more satisfied with their jobs and much less insecurity over the possible dismissal.
