Developed in 2011, SPiZone™ was developed to convert PDF documents into XML formats
- helping operators identify, extract and normalize content before ingestion to a clients’
database. The tool eliminated exhaustive manual typing by scanning and tagging only the
zones that needed validation and input by the operator, which greatly increased speed and
accuracy in the production process.
Through the years, updates to the tool has allowed our production teams to provide
increasingly accurate and reliable information to clients at scale and speed. Content of
documents like legal filings and police accident reports, invoices and business compliance
documents are transformed into assets and clients are able to maximize the value of such
information assets by treating them as enterprise resource, for example, or as data that
they can analyze for decision-making, or even as research that they can sell to their con-
sumers.
Recently, SPiZone was infused with AI and Machine learning to further enhance its perfor-
