Financial Control
This output aims to prepare and issue the Financial Control System which includes preventive, detective and corrective controls as well as requirements and rules to create audit committees and specifying their responsibilities and authorities. This output also includes taking the necessary measures to ensure compliance with the System.
2017 Achievements
Several achievements were accomplished within this outputs group during 2017. Following are the highlights of those achievements:
Developed the periodic General Budget Performance Reports and Financial Position Reports.
Prepared the Government Financial Subsidy and Aid Reports.
Prepared the Public Debt Reports.
Prepared the Government Corporations and Companies Reports.

Prepared and issued the Government of Abu Dhabi Financial Statements in accordance with International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS).
Provided internal support and advice to various sectors of the Department and externally to Government Entities, Corporations and Companies on financial and accounting matters.
Represented the Department locally in a number of committees and internationally in the Consultative Advisory Group of the International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS).
Developed Financial Statements preparation instructions and templates for Government Entities, Corporations and Companies.
Developed the draft Financial Control System to implement it on all Government Entities as per the governance principles adopted in the Emirate as well as the international best practices.
