CAAT Hosts “Effective Communication” Workshop to Enhance Inspectors’ Communication Competencies

On 6 February 2024, the Corporate Communication Division under the Secretariat Office of Commissioners and Director General of the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT) organized a workshop titled “Effective Communication”. The primary objective of the workshop was to strengthen the communication skills of CAAT inspectors - key personnel who play a critical role in liaising with various stakeholders across the aviation sector.
The session was conducted by Kru Namfon Pakdee, a personality coach from Pronality Academy, and focused on developing essential soft skills such as mindset cultivation, professional presentation, and attitude adjustment in terms of thinking, perspective, belief, and confidence. These elements are crucial in enabling inspectors to handle a variety of situations effectively and with composure.
Designed to enhance both verbal and non-verbal communication, the training aimed to help inspectors build trustworthy and impressive professional personas, which are vital when representing the organization in both formal and operational contexts. The workshop also introduced participants to the fundamentals of audience psychology and practical techniques for delivering clear, targeted communication. These skills are instrumental in helping inspectors address the specific needs and expectations of diverse audiences more effectively.
The knowledge and competencies gained from this workshop are expected to elevate the performance of CAAT inspectors in their core responsibilities including supervision, monitoring, regulation, and coordination with civil aviation stakeholders. Ultimately, these improvements contribute to ensuring compliance with national laws, regulations, and directives, as well as international standards set forth by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
