immigration grant from the archdiocese that helped families with legal and visa expenses. With your generous
donations, we have provided families with bunk beds, strollers, infant car seats, clothing, and other essentials—
along with over 23,000 diapers and 700 packs of wipes (enough diapers to stretch from St. Stephen’s to St.
Anthony’s!). Your ongoing support keeps this ministry thriving as we continue to walk beside families with young
children in love and faith. Contact Emma Stewart and Patti Brumback at prepares.sstm@gmail.com.

St. Vincent de Paul – St. Stephen’s Conference
The St. Vincent de Paul Society is dedicated to assisting those in need, regardless of background or faith. The
Society focuses on helping individuals and families experiencing poverty, homelessness, and other hardships.
Beyond material assistance, it fosters a culture of compassion and respect, encouraging volunteers to build
relationships and offer emotional and spiritual support. At St. Stephen the Martyr, our volunteers carry out this
mission through home visits to families in our neighborhood, providing personalized support with rent and utility
assistance, food, and other essential services. These visits are at the heart of what we do.
We are always looking for new volunteers—fresh faces, open hearts, and willing hands—to help us reach out to
neighbors in need. To get involved, please contact Raymond Fernandez at raymondsvdp@gmail.com

Medical Closet - Our Medical Closet remains a vital resource for parishioners and the wider community, providing
essential medical equipment to those in need. We have received numerous donations that have been shared with
parishioners, food pantry guests, and others in the community. Additionally, some items were donated to Gateway
Medical Alliance, which ships these crucial supplies to underserved communities around the world. Contact the
Medical Closet by calling Mary Marler at 206-910-8025 or Lisa G at 253-480-7109.
Food Pantry - The St. Stephen the Martyr Food Pantry continues to be a vital source of hope for
local families. This year we served 2,480 families - a total of 9,620 individuals, including 148 parish
households. Our volunteers distributed more than 5,500 bags of food, along with 884 packages of
diapers (over 27,000 individual diapers) from the PREPARES program to support families with young
children. The pantry also assisted 172 families in coordination with the St. Vincent de Paul Society.
We are deeply grateful for the continued outpouring of food and financial donations that make this
ministry possible. The Pantry is supported by many generous individuals, the Haus Family, the Adult
Teen Challenge Program, and the Issaquah Food Bank—thank you all for your faithful partnership
in serving our neighbors. For more information contact Lisa Grigaliunas at 253-480-7109.

Parishioner Outreach - Through Parishioner Outreach, our parish family extends direct care and assistance to
fellow parishioners experiencing financial hardship, illness, or unexpected crisis. This year, we provided $11,684.85 in
assistance, supporting 20 parishioners through rent and utility help, gift cards, and other essential needs. These
moments of compassion are possible because of your generosity. Each gift is a tangible sign of Christ’s love shared
      within our own parish community.
