Fruits of Your Giving
Parish Life
The Life of our Parish is alive in the Holy Spirit and continuing to overflow through those who come to
worship, pray, sing, and fellowship with each other.
This year we kicked off our Parish Life Celebrations in Sept. 2024 with Fr. Bryan joining in the Our Lady of
LaVang procession, Rosary, Mass and fellowship in the Hall. Followed were Octoberfest, Installation of Fr.
Bryan as Pastor with Mass & Reception in the Social Hall in Nov. 2024. For the Installation, we were
combined with St. Anthony in our first Full Parish Family Celebration. Glory to God.
We hosted a Multicultural Ministry Conference sponsored by the BCAC (Black Catholic Advisory Circle) in
Nov. 2024 where we were blessed to have Cardinal Wilton Gregory from Washington DC preside at Mass
& give a talk during the conference.
Our Parish Life is flourishing in our regular social events such
as weekly Coffee & Donuts, monthly Saturday Night Socials
(including our singing priests) and when we can celebrate as a
Parish after the Sacraments, such as Simbang Gabi, Pentecost
and the Meet and Greet Fr. Joseph Tapia-Beeman after his 1 st
Mass at St. Stephen in June 2024, and not to forget when Our
Women’s Guild hosts receptions after a funeral for the families
to celebrate the life of their loved ones.
Thanks to the Parish Life volunteers, Hospitality Ministers who assist in our celebrations and at Mass.
God continues to guide and bless us as we answer the call to “…encourage each other while it is still
today.”

We had a fabulous year with Children and Family Ministry, starting
with an underwater Bible Camp! This year we added several members
to the leadership team, bringing a new richness. For basic formation,
parents taught at home, and each week a different group attended
onsite family classes. These nights were a joy, and because our
volunteer team tripled, we could do even more for the children. We
also continued monthly Friday Fun Nights, partnering with the
Knights of Columbus. Together we enjoyed great food, fun, and
hospitality!
29 children received their First Eucharist, and it was wonderful to
celebrate their sacraments with our new pastor, Fr. Bryan. We are
very happy with this year, and excited to see how we evolve with
Partners in the Gospel.
Youth Ministry
We started this year with the Steubenville NW Conference and a week of service with Agape Ministry. We
jumped into the fall with EDGE and Life Teen programs, and during the week as well as on weekends,
