Fish Wish

If I had one wish,

I’d like to be a fish—

A fish that swims in schools

Or lives in sea-side pools.

If I could be a guppy,

I’d be happy as a puppy—

Or maybe I’d be a shark

And handle you with snark.

I’d be a dolphin kind

And pray you would me find—

Or a minnow I would be

For little kids to see.

If I could be a fish,

I’d give my tail a swish.

With water as my air,

I would not have a care.

Oh yes if I had one wish,

I’d like to be a fish!
