Poles Celebrated the 75 Anniversary of FIAP

In mid January, Poland hosted a series of exceptional events marking the 75 anniversary
of FIAP. Between 16–18 January 2026, a symposium was held, and two exhibitions were opened,
creating an intensive and rich artistic programme. The main initiative, an exhibition in an innovative
format, was an original project by Tomasz Sobczak, joined by 62 Polish photographers who placed
their trust in him.

one of the most important, influential, and prestigious institutions in the global photographic
community. Since 1950, FIAP has consistently and impressively integrated diverse, creative, and
multicultural photographic circles, building a space for authentic dialogue among artists, enthusiasts,
and institutions from nearly all continents. The organisation promotes photography not only as a
