success, and the initiative extended well beyond the boundaries of mere aesthetic photography.
It encompassed specialized training workshops that delved into deeper concepts related to
environmental, conceptual, and abstract photography. The theoretical workshops addressed a variety
of interconnected topics, beginning with the concept of environmental photography and the role of
the camera in documenting climatic and environmental changes. This transitioned into discussions
on the human impact on beaches, seas, and rivers, exploring how a photographer can capture the
beauty of nature while simultaneously documenting the changes and human interventions that
affect water quality and its sustainability. The workshops also covered conceptual and abstract
photography, demonstrating how natural scenes can be transformed into artistic messages that
transcend direct reality.

The workshops were not limited to theoretical discussion; they moved into the field, where the
natural environment and local communities became the true classroom. At each site, participants
received direct instructions and guidance from the trainers, learning how to read light and scenes
within a specific environmental context. Each location presented its own visual challenges: from the
sun’s reflections on the waters of the Nile in Cairo, to the first light of dawn in Ras El Bar, to the
sandy terrains of the beaches in Baltim. The project targeted diverse categories of photographers to
achieve a creative diversity that enriched its output. There were landscape photographers seeking
natural beauty in its broadest forms, exploring the relationship between land and water from a vast
panoramic perspective. Nature photographers delved into the details of wildlife, flora, and aquatic life,
capturing lively moments in coastal and Nilotic environments. Daily life and portrait photographers
captured the human aspect, finding stories worth documenting in the faces of fishermen, farmers,
