                         (Hon.FPAD) was conferred on Mr. Simon Hill, Mrs. Sheila Dansant and Mr. Ovi D. Pop. Mr. Simon Hill
                         spoke about the importance of maintaining integrity in the photographic world. The Certificate of
                         participation was presented to all the delegates who attended the seminar. Mr. Ovi D. Pop presented
                         a special plaque on behalf of the Romanian Photographic Association to Prof. Biswatosh Sengupta.
                         Justice Ashim Kumar Banerjee expressed his hope that lawmakers would come up with legal
                         frameworks to preserve human creativity. Mr. Himadri Sekar Dutta presented the vote of thanks. This
                         was followed by a Gala Banquet Dinner.

                             Prior to the conference, a national workshop on photography was held at the same venue from
                         January 21st to 23rd, 2026. Four sessions were conducted by distinguished faculty from PAD. The
                         inaugural ceremony on January 21st featured welcome addresses by Mr. Soumen Ghosh and Dr.
                         Abhoy Nath Ganguly, with Prof. Biswatosh Sengupta explaining the workshop’s scope.
                             The first workshop, “Experimental Refraction Photography,” was led by Mr. Mrinal Banerjee and
                         Mr. Mrinal Pal, who demonstrated creative uses of transparent objects and refractive properties. On
                         January 22nd, Mr. Gautam Sen directed the second workshop on “Situational Portrait Studies,” with
                         participants practising portrait photography across the museum’s spaces. The afternoon session                                                                 Exhibition of photos taken

                         Sengupta, covering aesthetics, appreciation, and critical evaluation. The fourth workshop on January
                         23rd, “Restoration using Photoshop,” was conducted by Mr. Asim Poddar and Mr. Partha Pratim Halder,
                         and was well-received by participants.
                             During the conference, photographs taken by the foreign delegates were displayed in an
                         exhibition.
