Activity: Blowing a balloon (activity for lungs)
1. The students were asked to blow a balloon and observe the change. Then they were
asked to deflate the same balloon and observe.
2. Children were asked to keep their hands on their chest and feel the movement as they
breathe. Just like an inflated balloon, the lungs in our body also expands when we
breathe in and contracts when we breathe out.
Through this activity, the students understood that lungs are internal organs that help us
to breathe.
