Registration Policy
Register online at cprdnewberg.org or at the registration desk inside Chehalem Aquatic & Fitness Center. Please be aware that no registrations nor reservations are handled at the administration of ce at 125 S Elliott Rd, Newberg, OR 97132.
Children’s Aquatic Center Admission Policy
The safety of your children is important to us. For the Aquatic Wing, children ages 10 years and up are permitted into the facility independent of an adult. Children ages 9 and younger must have adult supervision in the facility regardless of the child’s swimming ability. Children ages 8 years and younger who cannot pass the water activity readiness test are required to have an adult in the water within arm’s reach at all times.
Children/Youth Fitness Center Admission Policy
For the Sports Court and Skytrack, youth holding a valid high school student ID card are permitted without adult supervision. Youth ages 9-14 years (without high school ID) require visually active adult supervision. Children ages 8 years and younger must have adults to be within arm’s reach. Youth wishing to use the weightroom or cardio equipment (minimum age 14 years, with valid high school ID card) must attend a fee-based orientation (14–17 Years).
Aquatic Center Diaper Policy
It is the policy of this facility that all children 3 years and younger will be required to wear a swim diaper (in the pool) regardless of their potty-training status. In addition, cover with either a swimsuit or other brief that ts snugly around the thighs (elastic leg recommended). We want to keep our water healthy and without incident and we have found (generally speaking) that when children are having a lot of fun, they will not always report to their grown-ups the need to visit the toilet. Please check your child’s diaper often and change immediately if needed. Diapers are available for purchase at the reception desk.
Refund Policy
If the District or an instructor cancels a class, league, activity, camp, or event, a full refund/credit will be issued within 30 days. Refunds for registrations made by credit card will be refunded to the same credit card. All refund requests must be submitted in writing and will be processed within 30 days. Refund request forms are available at the reception desk of Chehalem Aquatic & Fitness Center. The refund process begins the day the written request
is received by CPRD. If a customer withdraws from a class before the registration deadline a refund/credit will be give. The refund/credit amount will be determined by the appropriate coordinator or supervisor. A minimum $5.00 processing fee will be withheld. A partial refund may be given when the written request is submitted, after the registration deadline, or after the class has begun, or drops the class below minimum enrollment. No refunds/credit will be given after the class, league, activity, camp, or event has been completed.
