Aquatic Camps
Lifeguard Training
This course focuses on the job of the lifeguard in a swimming pool environment. This course emphasizes victim recognition, surveillance and equipment-based rescues. The course includes First Aid, CPR and AED. Course prerequisites will be checked the rst day. One hundred percent attendance is required.

Junior Swim Instructor Camp
This camp is designed to train campers to assist our water safety instructors in teaching swim lessons. Camp includes 10 hours of instruction covering clerical, instructional, safety and leadership duties of a Junior Instructor. Campers will have an opportunity to assist with our summer swim lesson program for hands-on experience. They can also apply to become part of our volunteer Junior Instructor staff. Many of our current water safety instructors began their teaching careers at this camp. Campers must be able to swim at a minimum standard of Level 5.

Junior Lifeguard Camp
Come learn what it takes to be a Junior Lifeguard at the pool. Find out how to keep people safe, how to recognize people in trouble, and how you can safely help. Campers will receive instruction on basic water safety, strokes, drowning prevention, self-rescue, water chemistry and rst aid. Campers will also get hands- on experience assisting our lifeguard staff in a public swim setting. Campers will receive an of cial aquatic center Junior Lifeguard t-shirt. Campers are encouraged to become part of our volunteer Junior Lifeguard staff. Campers must be able to swim at a minimum standard of Level 5.

Water Polo Camp · Grades 4 & 5
Water Polo Camp is a great way to spend a hot afternoon. hat a great way to spend a hot afternoon. Join coaches Stella and Hailey for basic fundamental water polo skills such as ball handling and treading water, plus stroke instruction, and conditioning. Develop team work, have fun scrimmaging, and learn game concepts (the game set up is similar to basketball). Minimal swimming skills are required, practices take place in shallow water (4 feet). It is recommended that campers be able to swim at a Level 4 standard (25 yards front crawl, 25 yards backstroke).
