               This workshop will afford the opportunity to learn risk factors and warning signs of mental health concerns,
               strategies for helping someone in both crisis and non-crisis situations, and highlight where to turn for help.

               LCIF & Grants- Presenter PDG Barbara Moody
               Provides  an  overview  of  LCIF  to  LCI.  Explains  where  and  how  the  funds/grants  are  distributed  to
               disasters around the world.  Involvement with Sight, Measles, Diabetes and other health issues.

               Diabetes - We Believe Everyone Person Deserves Better Health- Presenters Lion Mildred
               Ramirez, Escline Greene and Barbara Bentley
               Focuses on Faces of Diabetes Innovation and the Race toward a Cure. This will be a Panel Discussion.

               Conflict Resolution: "He Said .... She Said .....They Said” - Presenter PDG Joyce Cochran
               Whenever two or more people come together, there is a high probability of conflicts.  This workshop will
               give participants an outline of what conflicts are and steps to address the problem.  Dealing with conflict is
               important  for  every  organization  no  matter  what  the  size.    If  it  is  left  unchecked  it  can  lead  to  lost
               membership.

               Protocol/Etiquette in Lionism Matters - Presenter PDG Veronica Ralph-Munro
               Members  Protocol  requirements,  expectation,  Meeting  etiquette,  Leaders  Protocol  ....  Agenda,  Time
               Management,  Clear  Instructions,  Integrity,  Accountability,  Teamwork  and  Excellence.  Address  Fellow
               Lions  Correctly  at  the  Club,  District,  State  and  International  Levels  Know  your  Badges  Order  and
               Precedence.    Introduction  and  Seating  Guides.    Official  District  Governor  Visit.    International  Visitor
               Hosting Guides.  Leave adequate time for Guest.  Thank you, Gifts are appropriate. Acknowledging and
               Responding to Texts, E-Mails and Phone calls timely and appropriately. Make guests feel welcomed and
               appreciated.

               Financial Responsibilities and Obligations of a Club - Presenter PDG Oswald (Ozzie) Torres
               Explain the Budget, Dues, Preparing the Tax Return, Bank Reconciliation, Administration and Fund-
               Raising Accounts and more.

               Other Foundation Grants - Presenter Lion Collene Questelles
               Presentation will focus on three grants: District 20-K1 Lions Foundation, New York State and Bermuda
               Lions Foundation and Brandel Murphy Youth Foundation. These Foundations offer clubs opportunities to
               secure  matching  grants  for  Vocational,  Humanitarian,  Youth  and  Emergency  service  projects.  Grants
               provide clubs with needed financial support to implement projects that can improve the quality of life in
               our communities.
