I am writing this from the GE Seminar experience in Las Vegas. 3 days of
training to become your District Governor for next year. There are some exciting things coming for Lions in the coming year, but more about that as the year progresses. Most Cabinet positions have been filled, but some positions are still open. If you have an interest in them, let me know. I have asked the District Team Leaders to submit reports as usual, but to also mention any upcoming events or issues for you to heat at the cabinet meetings.
Thanks to all who had a positive membership growth for the year! Welcome to the New Lancaster Centennial Club which has just been chartered. I hope many of you tok advantage of the waived entrance fee in June to bring in a new member. But anytime is a good time to recruit new servers to your community. One of my goals for the coming year is to stop the attrition of members and have an increase for the District.
All are invited to the first Cabinet meeting on Saturday July 14th at the First United Methodist Church in Coppell. We have some announcements to make there and will install the Leo Council and the cabinet for the coming year. I am looking forward to visiting all your clubs. Send me a note with the best dates for your meetings.
