Global Service Team
Last year, Lions from all over the United States reached out to Texas during the devastating times of Hurricane Harvey. We now have the opportunity to repay the kindness. Hurricane Florence has caused massive damage to North and South Carolina. We are preparing to send a truck loaded with sheet rock to our fellow Lions. Please consider a donation to "Hurricane Relief", care of 2-X1 Charities. Our district has already raised $6,000, but we are still short $3,500. Please consider this gift immediately. Any amount will help!
The Grand Prairie Host Lions are pleased to announce that President and Zone Chair Esmeralda Rodriguez has been selected to attend the ALLI (Advanced Lions Leadership Institute) on November 10-12, 2018 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. We know she will represent District 2-X! well! President Esmeralda is an inspiring and energetic leader. Congratulations!

Fellow Lions: Once again our nation is faced with rebuilding efforts after another devastating hurricane. Last year, our fellow Lions across the world joined in the effort to rebuild Texas after Hurricane Harvey. District 2-X1 responded and gave over $25,000 to the cause.
We now have in place, a warehouse and volunteers to unload and store supplies. We will deliver sheet-rock and plywood directly to the warehouse designated by the Community Service team of South Carolina.
Please consider requesting that your club give a donation of $1,000 to 2-X1 Charities designated “hurricane relief”. If you can’t do that amount, any amount will help. Let’s help District 2-X1 to once again lead by example.
Thanks
