The Sachse Lions “Clean Up the Community”
The picture shown right includes all of the Sachse Lions Club members and Leos. It was the City’s 10th Annual Arbor Day Jubilee city wide cleanup and collection event and the Sachse Lions Club participated. The Sachse Club joined other volunteers throughout the city to help clean up and beautify their community. This occurred last April 7th when city wide residents had the opportunity to drop off trash, debris, brush and even appliances. Republic Service provided collection of e-waste, hazardous waste and document shredding. Another great way to let the local community know as Lions “WE SERVE”.

Waxahachie Work Day at TLC
A small group of Waxahachie Lions were able to attend an annual work day at the Texas Lions Camp (TLC) last month in preparation for the upcoming summer camps. These camps serve children with disabilities ranging from type 1 diabetes to
cancer. Over 600 volunteers were there that day serving in various capacities. Whether it was clearing brush or getting the putt-putt course ready (as you'll see in the attached photo), these Lions show dedicated service every year to get this 504 acre camp ready for the over 1500 campers it will see this summer.
