Dallas Indian Lions Club
Lion Nishi Bhatia – Lion since 2017
LionNishiBhatiabeingaSpouseofthePPLionJyoti Bhatia has been a part of the club since 1987. She herself joined the club in 2016 and was the Secretary for our club in year 2017-18. She has been diligently supporting the club in various events, and services. Currently, she is the 3rd Vice President of the club and is very active participant in all the major activities of the club including fund raising and serving the homeless shelter. She also is very much involved in several nonprofit organizations in the community. As a Graduate of Collin County Plano Leadership class of 2015. She retired after 20 years’ service as a Special Ed Teacher in PISD.
Dallas South Lions Club – Lion since 2018 Lion Shalondria Galimore
Lion Shalondria joined Dallas South in February 2018. Her work within the club and community has been exemplary. In 2018 she chartered a Boy Scout Troop (#1872) in an underserved community, she co- chaired a Back to School Bash. Over 200 back packs andsuppliesweregiven,alongwithhaircuts,hygiene items, and vision screenings. In the summer of 2018, she was recognized by WFAA for implementing an 8- week swim camp for 20 children to learn the fundamentals and safety of swimming to prevent drownings. She is the President of the Neighborhood Association in the Joppee Community. She takes great pride in her service to Dallas South.
Duncanville Noon Lions Club
Lion William "Dub" Guthrie – Lion since 2018
Dub has embraced being a Lion with good enthusiasm and being a very willing worker and volunteer. He gladly stepped in as our 4th Vice President when that position became vacant. He previously was a Director. He has participated in all fund raising and service projects. Dub was previously a member from the 1970's to the early 1990's. He has been married to his wife Gwenn since 1982 and they have three children and one grandchild. We believe Dub is a worthy candidate for Grass Roots Lion.
Dallas Oak Cliff Lions Club
Lion Patrick Tester – Lion since 2016
OurGrassrootsLionisPATRICKTESTER.A member since 2016, Patrick has never failed to step up to any challenge the Club may have. He is a vital part of our Board, has helped at our eye clinics, took chairmanship of the Mardi Gras Parade in February of 2019 on very short notice and is always a willing volunteer. Patrick serves as chairman of the Civic Benefits Committee a second year and has taken his duties seriously. He is a member who exemplifies what our Motto states... We Serve.
Duncanville Evening Lions Club
Lion Betsy Thompson – Lion since 2015
Betsy has been involved with the organizing of the Duncanville Evening Branch Club. She has assisted with cleaning Lions Park, bringing awareness to our Club with decorating the Lion's Float for 4th of July. Betsy helped in developing and maintaining the BranchClub'sCentennialLegacyProject,aLittle Library in Lions Park to promote literacy. Betsy has currently stepped into the role as co-sponsor of the Alpha's Best Southwest Leos of 14 members currently stretching Lionism to our youth.
Ennis Host Lions Club
Lion Rick Ivey – Lion since 2017
Lion Rick has been very active in all our Club Activities. He has served as Song Leader, Program Chairman, and is now serving as 4th Vice President. He lives up to the Lions Moto "We Serve".
