HOME ECONOMICS DEPARTMENT

“If you are planning for a year, sow rice, if you are planning for a decade,
plant trees, if you are planning for a lifetime, educate people” (Chinese
Proverb)

As the Teacher in Charge of Home Economics Department, I have much pleasure to
be given the privilege to be part of this year’s e - magazine for our beloved school.

I now take this time to thank the Almighty God for another successful year for
without him this journey would not be an easy one. I express my gratitude to the
School Principal, Vice Principal and the Assistant Principal for their support
rendered to me and the department during the course of this academic year 2024.

I would also like to take this time to thank Miss Sharan Kaur for taking up the fort
to teach Home Economics for Year 10.

The total number of students who took up Home Economics for 2024 was 81 where
19 of them were males and 62 were females. It was very encouraging to see the
interest from our male students towards the subject. I would also like to thank all
the students for choosing Home Economics and taking up the subject and especially
for taking part in all the departments activities throughout the year.

I extend my best wishes to all the Home Economics students who will be awaiting
their external examination results for 2024.

All in all, thank you everyone for making this academic year a successful one.
