Students Enjoy Extracurricular Activities
Extracurricular activities this year at Wardlaw were varied and attracted a large segment of the student body.
Highest extracurricular honor is election to the Senior (grades nine through twelve) and the Junior (grades seven and eight) Student Councils. Both councils this past year worked in close con junction with the school administration and the faculty advisory committee.
The Glee Club presented its annual Christmas Carol Service and several other concerts. The group was joined on several occasions by singers from Hartridge and received able support from the student band.
The Drama Club presented Inlterit the Wind in February. Several of the students had partici pated the previous summer in a drama workshop in England.
Further clubs included those for students in terested in chess, photography, and library proce dure.
Several dances were held throughout the year. Halloween and Christmas parties were exciting highlights for lower schoolers, who also enjoyed end-of-the-year picnics.
