The Wardlaw Glee Club presented high-cali bre programs this past year in three well-received performances.
Under the directioi> of Mr. Arthur J. Schroff, the choristers sang before a full and appreciative house at the annual Christmas Carol Service, De cember 17—postponed for the first time in school history from Sunday, December 15, because of snow and ice. Songs were varied, many of them solos.
The club sang in early February at the annual winter meeting of the Mothers' Association, en tertaining with a number of American folk songs. The group’s final performance of the year was at Commencement exercises.
Headed by Steven T. Heslin, president, the Glee Club met twice a week and whenever extra time was available in the year’s unusually busy schedule. During rehearsals the group was divided into sections which combined to produce a finished and pleasing product during performance.
