Wardlaw’s artistic and literary magazine, the Compass, completed a fifth successive and success­ ful year of publication.
Co-editors Dennis A. Coney and Steven T. Hes- lin headed the staff with Mark H. Harris and Denis G. Quinlan serving as art editors. Mr. Jac­ ques E. LeCrand, Mr. Alexander McDougall, and Mr. Lewis B. Timberlake were faculty advisers.
Lower schoolers were particularly enthusiastic in submittting works of both literary and artistic nature.
Significant contributions by Harris, Quinlan, and David W. Price, Jr., added considerably to the quality of the magazine.
