An unusually hard-working staff put together this year’s Maroon and Gold.
Ralph E. Anthony was an able editor, whose painstaking diligence enabled the yearbook to ap­ pear on schedule. He was ably assisted by Denis G. Quinlan, editor-elect for the 1970 book. Ability marked the year.
Jay J. Hoffacker did a great job as advertising manager while Ernest G. Cole’s work as business manager kept everything financially afloat.
There was a wealth of excellent photography from the cameras of E. William Akerlund, Timothy B. Bowring, Thomas L. Hierl, and Raymond G. Whithan. David F. Quinlan wrote most of the copy.
Advisers were Mr. Alexander McDougall, Mr. Robert A. Paoli, and Mr. Lewis B. Timberlake.
