Council Stimulates Thinking, Cultivates Ideas
 58
Memorable progress for both Wardlaw and its Senior Student Council marked 1968-69, a year to be remembered as one that stimulated thinking and cultivated productive ideas for the future.
After close to 40 years at 1030 Central Avenue, a Wardlaw era ended; but along with the move to the new Inman Avenue address went ideas and memories from the old school. A well-organized and functional student council moved to the new building. It carried with it a new and stimulated interest in school events—socially, athletically, and spiritually.
Dances and meetings will not be forgotten— nor will the Wardlaw Key Club, which will be always remembered by those on the council who witnessed its foundation and organization.
Members of the council during 1968-69 were Jeffrey A. Tobey, president; Ralph E. Anthony, vice president; Steven T. Heslin, twelfth-grade re presentative; James O. Broccoletti and John B. Schwartz, eleventh graders. David P. Karner and Charles H. Streib, tenth graders; and Roger J. Breene and Paul K. Johnson, III, ninth graders.
