This year on the night before the Easter vacation the Day Girls’ Dramatic Club
presented two one-act plays under the very able direction of Mrs. Addoms. First was
Lord Dunsany’s '"A Night at an Inn” which was a very hair-raising play, at the end of
which the whole cast is murdered. The acting on the part of the three Cockney sailors
and Toffy, the English gentleman of somewhat reduced rank, was excellent, and the scene was very well staged.
Then as a welcome relief from nervous tension came Booth Tarkington’s comedy,
*'The Ghost Story.” This is a story of modern young people with a very harrowing few
moments during the telling of the horrible ghost story from which the play gets its
name. The acting was again good, easy and sustained, and we were all pleased with the happy ending.
The casts were as follows: 'THE GHOST STOKY^^— T arkingfoit
