PYGMALION
This year in addition to their hard work at the Fair, the Faculty and the Fathers collaborated to give Shaw’s "Pygmalion.” The play ran two nights, and they made an almost unbelievable sum for the Ffospital Fund. The acting was, of course, superlative, and the settings will long be upheld as examples for our blundering efforts.
Mrs. Addoms directed, and played, in addition, the leading role opposite Mr. Fay. We still don’t see how she managed both so smoothly and with such poise. And all the Fathers gladly gave up their peaceful evenings for rehearsals, and carefully learned long
parts somehow. They all were marvelous, and Mr. Fay in particular charmed us with his superlative ease and detachment on the stage.
