A Man’s Dedication and Sincerity Appreciated By The Maroon and Gold
This year the Maroon and Gold, in conjunc tion with the Class of 1972, recognizes one of W ardlaw’s most dedicated and sincere faculty members, a teacher both the graduates and the yearbook staff consider to be of the highest caliber as an instructor and individual.
Though especially involved with the graduat ing class in particular, this man means something to every student who has ever passed under his kindly wing. Granted there have been gusty times when some have balked at his stern ap proach and severe demands. Nevertheless, many
have survived his storming to look deeper into the man to find a warm-hearted person who has always had the welfare of his students in mind.
His work has not gone unnoticed, for in ap preciation of his contributions to Wardlaw, this year’s Maroon and Gold has been dedicated to Mr. M. Gale Hoffman.
Today this book passes into the annals of Wardlaw history and the memory of Mr. Hoff man will long remain in the minds of all his students.
