\]P lELD Day was held May the ninth under the able direction of Dorothy ing. Contrary to our first expectations we had our accustomed luck with the weather, which brought forth an unusually large number of
amateur sportsmen to watch the competition. The contest was made more exciting because the events which a contestant might enter were limited. Frances Whitwell, as victor, was awarded the cup, while her
greatest rival, Althea Crow, received honorable mention. Betty Williams won the medal for the elementary.
