The trip to Colonial Williamsburg is a vital part ot the Seventh Grade H isto ry curriculum. From the beginning of the seventh grade year we prepare for the trip by learning about our struggle for freedom and the formation of the United States. The trip emphasizes various aspects of this time period. The British flag is still flying over the Capitol building during our visit,, so the struggle has not
been completed.
During the trip the students are given
an assignment from each of their subject areas to be completed upon their return. These assignments pertain to what is seen and learned during our week in colonial times The students also qet a first hand
