A newcomer to the Wardlaw-Hartridge club scene this year was the Pep Club. The Pep Club was organized by junior Jayna Gaskell to raise school spirit. The club made posters and hung decorations and attended many games. This is the first year that Wardlaw-Hartridge has had any club dedicated only to raising school spirit and giving our teams pride and incentive. Almost everyone not involved directly in sports either joined the Pep Club or actively supported it. Many of the teams this year felt that the Pep Club really helped to get them in the right frame of mind for their games. As one student said, “We needed some thing to raise school spirit and the Pep Club really did the job.”
