The End Of An Era
We must say good-bye to a guide and a friend who has led, shaped, and nurtured the school for 22 years. He came July 30, 1959,to become the most respected man of the Wardlaw-Hartridge community. Mr. Prentice C. Horne, whom the students and the faculty admire, has helped Wardlaw-Hartridge grow into a separate and individual school from the two different and distinct schools of Wardlaw and Hartridge.
We thank him for giving his support and love to our lives. It will be very difficult to realize a Wardlaw-Hartridge without him. The many students who have attended Wardlaw-Hartridge over the past 22 years, when they think back on their years here, will keep his memory in a special place in their hearts.
