After 27 Years, Wardlaw-Hartridge Says Farewell
Who is it who is not a teacher or student, but a friend and advisor? Mrs. Jackie Childers is that person who, in her twenty-seven years at Wardlaw-Hartridge, has been a parent, friend, and all-around advisor to the school. Besides being one of the two famous ladies at the Mothers’Store, Mrs. Childers has also been a big part of the fund raising for Wardlaw- Hartridge when she served as the president of the Parents’ Association.
Every yearbook in the past twenty-seven years makes some mention of the Childers’ name. If not one of her four children, then Mrs. Childers’ activities on the Board of Trustees are mentioned.
Although she is retiring this year, we are sure that she will always be around to cheer on our teams and give us her never- ending support and love. MRS. CHILDERS, THANKS!!!
