Because of the revisions done on the school's constitution last year. Student Council had a new composi tion. Instead of students elected solely as representatives of the grades on the Council, the Vice- President and President of each grade served on the Council. This allowed activities to run more smoothly and also encouraged the grades to be more active.
Over the course of the year. Stu dent Council hosted the First Annual Semi-Formal Dance in February, as well as a Basketball and Hockey Tournament and finished with a Ha waiian Luau in May. In addition, by laws and amendments were added to the school's constitution.
Although many do not even know of its existence, the Aca demic Decathalon Team has been representing W-H at an annual in ter-scholastic tournament for the past 6 years. Under the guidance of Mrs. McMullen, the team prac tices by answering questions from Trivia and Jeopardy books. For the first time, the team was challenged by the faculty to a
game of Trivial Pursuit. Although the students lost, it was only by 2 1/2 points. They will be losing eight seniors this year, but with the strong underclassmen left, the Decathlon Team has every right to be optimistic for next
year.
