SEVENTH GRADE
Twen+y-two eager, noisy, exuberant students make up the seventh grade at Wardlaw. Scholastically, the class has done extremely well and has usually man aged to be up near the top with class averages. In athletics and extra-curricular activities, the seventh graders have also shown considerable ability in mak ing their presence known.
Academically, a major event for the seventh grade occurred after the first marking period in the fall when the class was rearranged into two sections. What had formerly been the A and B sections became the Maroon and Gold sections, each group having equal scholastic ability. This new system, it was felt, would provide greater competition within the class and thus benefit all of the boys. The seventh graders found this new system to their liking as they progressed with English, mathematics, history, and science.
Ably representing the class in Junior Student Coun cil were Charles Burgdorff and Thomas Hierl.
