SIXTH GRADE
Sixth grade is usually a time of growing pains as Wardlaw boys encounter the more arduous work of the middle school. This year's sixth grade managed to survive the ordeal, however, and has developed into a group that scholastically and athletically shows promise.
In their academic work, the sixth graders toiled over English, arithmetic, geography, and science. An enjoyable diversion was provided in Mrs. Little's EngĀ lish class when the boys wrote to prominent authors whose books they had read. So enthusiastic was the response to this project that an English club was formed, complete with elected officers. In geography class, the boys learned about life and customs abroad by writing to pen pals in England..
Andrew Safran and Charles Streib represented their classmates in the Junior Student Council.
