FIRST GRADE
The first graders, under the guidance of Mrs. Mildred Lum, have completed a highly successful year. They have developed further their reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
During the year the Class of 1976 read thirty books. They used "new math" to learn addition and subtraction. They became acquainted with basic rules of spelling.
In addition to their three R's with Mrs. Lum, the fif teen members of the class studied art and science with Mrs. Elizabeth Schanz.
