Girls’ Varsity Basketball had a close season this year, 4 of their games were lost by a total of only 10 points. The girls had a lot of enthusiasm and skill but they were not able to beat some of the tough opposition. Nonetheless, this season did see 5 spectacular wins and it gave a chance to freshmen such as Allison Moore and Michelle Ware to gain exper ience on the varsity squad. Looking for ward to next year, Coach Anderson says “ we should do a lot better because we’ve got freshmen with experience and every one will know what I expect” . Three of this year’s top scorers will be returning, including Maria Wilson who racked up 207 points this season. Although they lost, the girls are happy with their team work this year and look forward to im proving the record next year.
