The Banquet, 1927
rhe Banquet of the Athletic Association was held on the evening of May twentieth and was most delightful, thanks to the combined efforts of Miss Jenkins and Katharine Powell, president of the Association.
I
d'he ceiling of the auditorium was decorated with long streatTiers of red. and white crepe paper, and the table which formed the letter H Avas also beautifully decorated in the same colors.
Our delightful guest of honor. Miss \Villiai7ison, and our witty toast- mistress, Anne Breckenridge, added greatly to the success of the occasion.
A. delicious dinner was served during which many toasts were given, and after which Miss Hartridge presented to the members of the winning hockey and basketball teams their letters and numerals, and to the tennis
champion. Marguerite Anderson, a beautiful silver loving cup.
The remainder of the evening was delightfully spent in tableaux and dancing, and when eleven-thirty came all too suddenly, we reluctantly bade
Miss Hartridge and Miss Mapelsden good night.
