Volleyballers Spike Way To Even Season
After a slow start the Varsity Volleyball team rallied to three straight wins before dropping their last game for an even record. The team was a basic ally young and inexperienced one, co-captains Barbara Vor- werk and Barbara Howard be ing the only seniors. However, they certainly were not with out enthusiasm and courage as they battled an undefeated Collegiate team to a narrow loss in the state tournament. Coach Arlene Jachim con cluded, “ We gained exper ience and will be a much bet ter team next year.”
