Varsity Baseball Ready For Action After Spring Training
Coming off a mediocre 8-12 season, the varsity diamondmen are confident of a winning season. The team racked up an early season 2-1 record, the one loss resulting from a highly controversial call against Wardlaw-Hartridge in a game against North Bruns wick. Coach Ben Tantillo was innovative in taking the team to Florida during spring vacation for spring train ing. The training has undoubtedly helped them and has served to enhance the ability of an already capable team. Among the most notable players are pitcher Tom
Lankey, outfielder John Skolka, and catcher John Buza.
