Council Keeps Abreast of Problems
Under the leadership of Mark B. I.oizeaiix, the Wardlaw Senior Student Council forged ahead with its demands for more student rights. Such controversial subjects as the dress code, open dances, open lunch, and more student freedom were actively and sometimes hotly dis cussed at numerous town meetings. Though sometimes at odds with the administration, in the end the Council was able to gain valuable ground in some areas and pave the way for future coun cils.

A. Shear were the representatives from the twelfth grade. Juniors included John F. Bovviev, Jr., treasurer, and Jerome A. Parchois. J. Gil more Childers, corresponding secretary, and James F. Reynolds were the tenth grade repre sentatives. Freshmen Gary A. Medvigy and W. Martin Powell, recording secretary, rounded out the group.
Gary M. Malpas and Gary M. Shrager. pres idents of the senior and junior classes respec tively, were also members of the Council.
